Jill Witkowski Heaps, Earthjustice
Jill Witkowski Heaps is a Project Attorney at Earthjustice. She has more than 15 years of experience in environmental law and is a national leader in environmental justice, serving for six years on the National Environmental Justice Advisory Council. Prior to joining Earthjustice, Jill was Director of the environmental law clinic at Vermont Law School, Director of the Choose Clean Water Coalition, Waterkeeper with San Diego Coastkeeper, and Deputy Director at the Tulane Environmental Law Clinic. Jill received her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and her law degree from Washington University School of Law. Jill lives in Buffalo, New York, where she enjoys hiking, cycling, and kayaking with her husband and 4 year old son.
