A Special Conference that Combines Two Training, Educational
and Networking Programs into a Single Event
The Conference brings together a cross-section of environmental specialists, health and housing officials, facility managers, health advocates, and environmental companies and consultants. The conference features grant management training, “how to” workshops dealing with childhood lead poisoning prevention, lead hazard control, healthy and green housing, grant administration, and education and outreach.

City Showcases and Poster Presentations provide attendees with the opportunity to examine what has worked well in other communities and what research findings support the need for undertaking lead poisoning prevention, lead hazard control and healthy housing programs.
“Don’t Reinvent the Wheel” Displays of Educational and Outreach Materials give attendees a look at what some organizations have created to reach out to populations in their community.
Networking Opportunities to meet with colleagues from throughout the country to exchange ideas, solve problems and establish working relationships.

A block of rooms has been reserved at a special conference rate of $199 for a single or double occupancy; $224 for triple occupancy; and, $249 for quad occupancy. These rates are available from check-in on Saturday, May 12 through check-out on Saturday, May 18 based on availability.

*The $190 registration fee is available to HUD grantees and subgrantees who are required to attend the conference which incorporates the HUD Program Manager’s School
Additional Fees
Add $45 if you are attending a pre-conference workshop.
There is no additional fee for grantees attending the HUD Tuesday Program.
